The inspiration for the design of Novolife International Medical Center comes from the natural environment surrounding the site. The designer, Yaming Sun, sought to capture the essence of the mountains, waters, and bamboo forests in the design. The space is designed to evoke a sense of looking up at mountains, listening to water sounds, and viewing bamboo scenery, creating a harmonious connection between the interior and the natural world.
What sets Novolife International Medical Center apart is its focus on creating a space that allows patients to feel a sense of belonging and emotional connection. The design aims to provide a truly modern and fashionable medical center that prioritizes the well-being and comfort of its patients.
The design of Novolife International Medical Center incorporates a variety of materials that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical. The decorative materials used are antibacterial, environmentally friendly, impact-resistant, and easy to clean, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff. The integration of different materials in the space creates a seamless and cohesive design.
Covering a total area of 22,000 square meters, Novolife International Medical Center is a testament to the designer's vision and creativity. The project started in January 2018 in Nanjing and was completed in September 2018 in Tai'an.
The design team faced several challenges during the project. The construction period was short, with only three months from start to completion. Additionally, the project had a limited budget, requiring the design team to carefully control costs. Despite these challenges, the team successfully created a space that met the client's needs and exceeded expectations.
The Novolife International Medical Center is a prime example of the system-integrated decorating method. This innovative approach involves processing various decorative panel materials in a factory and hanging them from a space carrier using special connectors. This method offers advantages such as cost-effectiveness, shorter construction time, and environmental friendliness.
